Harsen House

“Harsen House” takes its name from the Harsenville community founded by the Harsen family in 1763 and is a new luxury condominium in the heart of Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Situated one block from Central Park and two blocks from Riverside Park, the elegant construction thus required Landmarks District approval. The project was conceived as a building of mostly 2-bedroom apartments, but Anbau was able to easily respond to demand for full flloor units because of the flexibility of the design. The project remains one of the first New York City residential projects to incorporate LEED standards and subsequently earned Silver certification status.
