“Loft 55”

Referencing the historically vast and sprawling interiors converted from manufacturing spaces to residential ones, Loft 55 is located in the now-popular Clinton neighborhood in Manhattan, three blocks south of Columbus Circle. Built in 1911 as a horse carriage house, the building’s concrete structure and high ceilings allowed Anbau to design loft-style apartments with generous open spaces. A brand-new penthouse with expansive city views was also added to the existing structure.
