110 Central Park South

Originally constructed as a residential hotel in 1927 by Candela and Carpenter, this 29-story pre-war coop is located at the south end of Central Park. Stupendous views to the north traverse all of Central Park and the City’s horizons beyond.  Neighboring buildings include the Plaza Hotel, the Ritz-Carlton and Rockefeller Center as well the Time Warner Building at Columbus Circle. Fifth Avenue shopping and The Theatre District are within easy walking distance. For this ambitious project, Anbau gutted the hotel interiors and designed pre-war style apartments with unparalleled vistas and all the conveniences of contemporary living. Further enhancing the structure’s value, three levels of penthouses were also added to the existing height.
